It was such a gloomy day, one of those that felt like the end of the world and I desperately needed some cheering up. And as luck would have it, Kiera, my house mate arrived..being her usual crazy self and very soon what seemed like the end of the road turned out to be a super beginning...a beginning to a sinful journey which got us treading on loads of chocolate and ofcourse the calories.But let me tell u..this recipe is tried and tested on a whole lot of people.its magic and can mend anything even a broken heart!so go ahead ...indulge!
KIERAS ULTIMATE CHOCO BROWNIES!
Ingredients
6 Eggs
150 gms cooking chocolate melted
350 gms vegetable oil
200 gms maida
440 gms sugar
75 gms cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp baking powder
100 gms choco chips
150 gms chopped walnuts
METHOD
Beat up the eggs and sugar. In a separate bowl, mix the melted chocolate ,cocoa and oil. Add this to the sugar and egg mixture. Add in the sifted maida, baking powder, 3/4ths of the chopped walnuts and chocochips. Fill the tin with batter upto 3/4 inch high Top the batter with the chocochips and the remaining chopped nuts. Bake at 180degrees for about 25mins. A toothpick inserted should not come out completely clean if you like your brownies with a gooey centre
