- 3 eggs
separated
- 85gms
castor sugar
- 55gms
flour,
- 1tbsp
melted butter
- vanilla
essence
- 1tbsp
warm water
- 1tsp
baking pdr
- icing
sugar to dust
Method
- Grease
a swiss roll tin approx 12'' by 9".preheat the oven.
- Whisk
the egg yolks with the sugar till pale in colour
- Add the
vanilla essence
- Then
gradually fold in the flour which has been seived with baking pdr
- Beat up
the egg whites till stiff and gradually fold into the mixture
- Add the
melted butter and water and pour the mixture into the tin spreading it evenly
- Bake at
180 for about 15 to 20 mins or till done.
- Allow
the cake to cool for a while
- Then
take a large sized butter paper and sprinkle with icing sugar
- Turn
the cake over so that the browned top is in contact with the butter
paper.
